ABOUT US

St. Benedict the African Group of Schools—the Model School—developed out of the Nsukka 2020 Vision.

 

We are excited to open the first Montessori classroom in school year 2019-2020 under the direction of Fr. Uchenna Matthew Okwor, who has finished his internship and course of study at Seton Montessori Institute and has received his Montessori certification from the American Montessori Society.

 

Fr. Uchenna Matthew Okwor looks forward to working within the Diocese of Nsukka to further train early childhood teachers, particularly those who have been working within the Pilot Schools.

 

We hope to use this website to continue to give updates on the progress we are making to enact Montessori early childhood education within the Diocese of Nsukka.
