Help us to train six new Montessori teachers and develop our own school materials
Our students learn to care for their environment outside of the classroom. See more photos of our students in action.
Update from Father Uchenna Matthew
My trip back to my country Nigeria after my Montessori education in the states was a successful one. I actually had a smooth flight.
Since I came back in August, I have been working round the clock to set up a Montessori classroom in my Diocese of Nsukka. This has not been all that easy, but I am very happy that we now have a Montessori school in Nsukka.
The school opened on 13th September 2019 with four children, age 2 1/2 to 4. Since then we have been making progress, the number of the children is still increasing.
We hope to get good number of children next school year because by then the school and her philosophy will be clear to more parents.
Fr. Moses and I are still working on the best time to begin the teachers' training as most of the prospective trainees are still tied down by their respective jobs. We hope to kick off immediately after the first section of this school year comes to an end.
Thanks and remain blessed,
Fr. Uchenna Matthew Okwor
